MINDFUL BREATHING

to ease

ANXIETY

Off-White Arrow

Mindful breathing can be used as a tool to help you calm your nervous system to reduce stress and allow clarity, ultimately helping you to eliminate the feeling of overwhelm that induces anxiety and panic.

The sympathetic nervous system is the part of your brain that gets activated when you are perceiving a threat. Cue the cave days.

This throws you into survival mode aka fight or flight because when you're anxious, your brain is flooded with stress hormones. The key to stopping that anxiety in its tracks is to breathe.

1. Exhale fully & empty your lungs 2. Slowly inhale through your nose for a count of 4
